A grounded, intuitive look at how tarot, astrology, and psychic readings work—and how they all lead you back to your own inner wisdom.

Many of you are here because, in one way or another, you’re curious about energy work and the unseen world—or you’re already exploring your intuitive gifts.

Maybe you’ve worked with intuitive tools like oracle cards, a pendulum, tarot, or horoscopes. You may have even experienced energy healing or received a psychic or intuitive reading.

No matter which doorway you choose, all of these practices have one thing in common:

They don’t work without you.

They require your energy.

Your openness.

Your resonance.

These modalities are not the source of your insight—they are gateways to your intuition. And often, the one that draws you in will naturally lead you to others as your awareness begins to expand.

Since the beginning of time, humans have searched for meaning beyond what we can see or fully understand in the physical world. In that search, we developed tools to help us connect with something deeper—something unseen, yet deeply felt.

Again and again, we discover there is more to this world than meets the eye.

Many of the world’s major religions are rooted in mystical experience. If you were raised within one, you may already be familiar with one of the most common ways humans connect with the unseen: prayer.

When we pray, we place our attention—and often our trust—into something we cannot physically see. We speak, reflect, or ask… believing, in some way, that we are being heard.

Whether you view that as connection, intention, or energy, something within us is reaching beyond the physical.

Your beliefs and your experiences shape your truth.

And your truth shapes your reality.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Now let’s look at something both ancient and widely familiar—often a first step into spiritual exploration:

Your horoscope.

Most people have read their horoscope at least once. Most people know their sun sign. Astrology is an ancient practice rooted in observing the movement of celestial bodies and interpreting their energetic influence.

  • In part, it is physical—we can observe the moon’s phases and planetary movement.

  • In part, it is energetic—specific qualities and frequencies have been associated with each planet. Venus, for example, is often connected to love, relationships, beauty, and what we value—so a Venus sign reading can offer insight into how you give and receive love, and what draws you in.

  • And in part, it remains unseen—something we feel more than we can prove.

This is where the astrologer becomes the bridge.

An astrologer reads the energetic patterns of the planets and translates them into language you can understand. They are not creating your truth—they are interpreting energy and reflecting it back to you.

And yet… how often have you read a horoscope and had that aha moment? That feeling that it was written just for you?

You might think, How did they know that?

But what’s really happening is something much closer to home.

The reading is helping you tune into your own intuition. It’s activating something within you—something you already know, but may not have fully embodied yet.

This is resonance.

Not something complicated.

Not something reserved for the gifted or the trained.

Something you’ve already experienced.

There is a natural frequency within you—your energy, your knowing, your truth. And when something outside of you meets that frequency… you feel it.

It lands.

It clicks.

It resonates.

That aha moment?

That’s not the information impressing you.

That’s your energy recognizing itself.

Something in the reading matched something within you, and your system responded by rising to meet it.

Energy met energy.

And something awakened.

The insight didn’t come from the reading. The reading simply activated what was already within you.

Oracle cards and tarot cards work in a similar way. Their images, symbols, numbers, and meanings hold energetic patterns that you interact with. They become a physical bridge between you and your intuition.

In mediumship and intuitive readings, the reader becomes the bridge. Practitioners open their channels to receive information through energy and translate it into words, symbols, or impressions for you.

But again—what comes through is not separate from you.

It is energy meeting your frequency.

Your vibration.

Your intuition.

Your remembering.

This is why you’ll often hear readers say, take what resonates and leave the rest.

It’s no different than reading a horoscope that doesn’t quite land—you read it, feel into it, and if it doesn’t resonate… you simply let it go.

And this is where I’m here to remind you:

It is all energy.

And your ability to access it is not something outside of you—

It is innate.

And this is why I do what I do.

To gently guide you back to your own inner wisdom.

To remind you that the connection you seek has always been within you.

So that you can trust it.

So that you can live from it.

So that you can shine brightly, and from within.

If something in this stirred your curiosity, you don’t have to take my word for it.

You can begin to experience this for yourself.

You don’t need a reader, a deck, or a chart to access your intuition.

You can become the bridge.

A Simple Pendulum Practice

You don’t need anything special to begin.

If you have a pendulum, you can use that.

If not, you can easily make your own.

A simple piece of string with a small object—like a ring, washer, or even a paper clip—will work just as well.

To begin, sit comfortably and take a few slow breaths. Let your body soften. Let your energy settle.

Hold the top of the pendulum chain, string, or cord between your fingers. Rest your elbow if that feels helpful, and allow your arm and hand to be steady, but relaxed.

Let the pendulum hang freely.

Then ask:

“Show me yes.”

Notice how the pendulum begins to move. It may swing side to side, forward and back, or in a circle. Whatever movement appears becomes your “yes.”

When the movement settles, ask:

“Show me no.”

Observe the direction. This becomes your “no.”

You can also ask:

“Show me maybe,”

or

“Show me I’m not ready to know.”

Once you understand how your pendulum communicates, begin with simple questions you already know the answer to:

“Is my name [your name]?”

“Do I live on the moon?”

This helps you build trust and recognize how your energy responds.

Then, when you feel ready, you can gently move into simple yes or no questions where you are seeking clarity.

The key is not to force an answer.

Stay curious.

Stay grounded.

Stay open.

The pendulum is not giving you answers.

It is simply helping you see the wisdom moving through you.

If you’re feeling called to explore this more deeply, I would be honored to support you.
